Typical bulletin-scale build. Spectaculars run 45–60. Permits and engineering run in parallel, not in sequence, which is where the time comes from.
Brief + site survey
We measure the actual site, not the map. Sight lines, approach speed, ambient light, what blocks it at 6 p.m.
Engineering
Load calc, wind rating to ASCE 7, motor and blower spec, electrical draw against the available service.
Stamped drawings
Fabrication set and structural set, sealed by a PE licensed in the state the board stands in.
Permit + landlord
Municipal sign permit, electrical permit, landlord and media-owner sign-off filed together, not in sequence.
Fabrication
Steel, skin, motion and lighting built and dry-fitted in the shop. You get photos of the assembled unit before it ships.
Install
Night crane window, 4–6 hours, lane closure permit in hand. Crew is OSHA 30 and site-badged.
Live + monitored
Board goes on. Remote monitoring starts the same night, with a named engineer on the account.
